Nancy Swider-Peltz

    Nancy is a charter member of our club and currently coaches our more skilled skaters.  She was
    a four-time Olympian (1976, 1980, 1984, and 1988) and now coaches skaters on a national level .
    She is currently coaching 2010 Olympians Nancy Swider-Peltz Jr. and Brian Hansen.  

    A lifelong skater, Jordan was a two-time Junior National medalist in figure skating and a
    recreational participant in both hockey and speed skating. He has been a Learn to Skate
    instructor and private coach for more than 12 years. He currently coaches figure skating 
    for beginning skaters through elite-level athletes and is the Learn to Play Hockey coordinator at Oakton Ice Arena. In his spare time he enjoys any ice sport he can find, including curling, bandy, and broomball.

    Peter is a long-time member of the club and has been coaching our novice and younger skaters
    for over 10 years. He is a U.S. Speedskating Level 1 certified coach and focuses on teaching
    young skaters the fundamentals as well as common track meet protocols and etiquette. 
    Peter enjoys cross-country skiing, fly fishing and bluegrass music.  Most importantly he has infinite patience and is great with kids.
